Drop down panel on Android has changed

What I’m trying to do

The drop down menu I get when clicking the “files” button on the side bar looks like a generic popup in stead of part of the obsidian look like the other panels like it used to, like a week or so ago.

I would like this to change, or at least be informed if this is a deliperate change.

Things I have tried

Serching for stuff like.
“Obsidian mobile drop down panel changed” but i cant seem to find others with this problem.

it is a deliberate change to use native ui components.

As far as UX design goes, this is absolutely the wrong choice. This also applies to the fullscreen text input modals that are often used unnecessarily.

Modals have a good purpose, and that is to disrupt visual flow in order to essentially decontextualise the user from their previous context. In most user flow situations, they are strongly recommended against, because they require users to both look and tap in a different place to where they had just been, increase cognitive load with frequent context-switching, and create a less coherent sense of the otherwise wonderful workspace structure.

What’s strange is that text suggestion dropdowns in the editor, like the link suggester and value suggester in properties, are still inline and work great. Either these are non-native or there are better native options for the rest of the UI to maintain user flow.
