Drag Canvas element/elements onto connection line to insert links in chain

Use case or problem

When you want to quickly insert a canvas element between two connected elements.

Proposed solution

By selecting one or more elements and dragging one of their filename labels directly onto a connection line, let the note/notes be inserted between the connection line’s connected elements. To be clear, the dragged elements would be placed along the midpoint of the connection line. The elements would be linked to both ends of the connection line they were dragged upon.
