how do i download stuff from obsidian? for example i dragged a file into obsidian and now how do i download it?
there is no download from Obsidian. Obsidian works locally on your computer. The files are already in your computer.

cant i save the files in obsidian so if i switch pc the files will be there?
There is Obsidian sync for that or you can use a third party file synchronization tool, like iCloud or Dropbox
Or just copy the vault (the folder containing your notes) to your new PC, and then open the folder in Obsidian there. Or open the notes in any other text editor.
