Since one of the latest updates, whenever I put an equal (=) sign in when writing equations it always doubles and puts two. I get this is used for markdown but it never used to double the equal sign in equations. Is this a new feature or a bug?

Yes, this is a big pain! But, I’ve disabled “Auto pair Markdown syntax” in options which fixes it. The markdown auto pairing being turned off isn’t a big deal for me.
