Dollar signs should behave like parentheses/brackets when applied to marked text

Current behavior

Text selections can be quickly put in brackets/parentheses by opening a parentheses/bracket. This is very helpful, but doesn’t work for dollar signs.

Use case

I’m using LaTeX math in a lot of my notes and when I’m copy-pasting something, this would allow me to more quickly math-ify relevant sections.
Additionally I can type paragraphs and convert single variables or expressions to LaTeX later without interrupting my typing flow.

how can you make it behaving like brackets? cuz mine i have to manually types $ at the end.
