Document consisting of linked or embeded paragraphs

hi all,

I have a lot of transcripted recordings, I edited and tagged their paragraphs and I want to keep these original files in the current state.

my question is: how can I “link” or “embed” selected paragraphs in other files of my vault. It is also imperative that I am able to reuse those paragraphs in multiple files, and it should work detached from tags. the newly created files should contain the full texts of the paragraphs. I already searched the help wiki and watched a lot of YT tutorials but I cannot find the functionality I am looking for.

Lets say my documents are:

TranscriptA
-Architecture01
-Mediatheory01
-Architecture02

TranscriptB
-Mediatheory02
-Mediatheory03
-Architecture03
-Briefing01

My desired new DOCUMENTS looks like this:

ARCHITECTURE
-Architecture01
-Architecture02
-Architecture03

ROOM1
-Architecture02
-Mediatheory03
-Mediatheory02

I want to be able to do this manually, like searching my files for tags, looking which paragraphs match the new document or topic, select the paragraph and then “send” it to this document.

Have a look at Embed files. Could that achieve what you are looking for?
Look under the section on embedding headings and blocks.

thank you for the embed tipp!

I found this YT tutorial https://youtu.be/4VxZCngq0dM?si=Aw_ic3wNypzgCHbv&t=1543

it uses user plugins to create block references by shortcut, and then embedding them in the new document while putting an “!” at the beginning. this comes very close to what i was looking for!
