During a time our Vault grows. We can add many Tags or links between notes. When we open a Graph View we can be easly overloaded by number of information.
Now I can filter out some elements but it doesn’t help much.
There is no option to show a Graph where I can see only selected tags, or where I can exlude some of them.
This problem grows when I started to use Nested Tags.
I am using it as a metadata
When I turn on a viewing a Tags I see all off them.
It makes Graph very hard to read and become useless.
Proposed solution
add a parameter to filter like:
-> exlude-on-graph:( QUERY )
You can. In search box of Filters. Enter the hashtag that you want to see.
For excluding, type - before the hashtag. Eg: -#concepts
This syntax will filter out all notes with #concepts tag.
This in not my Goal.
My goal is to see a graph with all notes also with a #concepts tag
but without seeing this tag on a graph - selected e.g Tags .
Why?
Each tag creates a cluster and concentrates a notes on the graph around tags. Because of that we get a mess. It is hard to find relations which I would like to find.
Proposed solution can make a graph more clear and easy to read.
