Problem:
I updated Obsidian on March 22, 2026.
Today I noticed that the shared graph and local graph no longer display tags in full format.
Only the end nested tag is displayed.
Question:
Is it possible to restore the ability to display full tag formats in the graph?
Situation:
I was creating a tag system with nested tags like this:
Design/idea
Design/note
Design/info
Drawing/idea
Drawing/note
Drawing/info
Or like this:
hss/{type}/{Brand-or-Name}/use
hss/{type}/{Brand-or-Name}/tech
hss/text/Obsidian/use
hss/text/Obsidian/tech
“hss” - meaning hard, soft, services
“use” - meaning notes about my using a device, program, or service
“tech” - meaning notes about technical aspects, settings, etc.
And more other like this cases
Consequently, it’s now impossible to navigate the entire tag system, since I only see the final nested tags in the graph. — “idea idea idea note note note use use” and many other unusable words and abbreviations.
