It would be great to have this feature in obsidian.
For example, in my workflow (zettelkasten) I have one literature note per book/article: that means that I have in one single note many headings with different topics. But when linking to these headings/toipics, at the graph view we all of them pointing to the same node (the book/article title in my case).
It would help if we had a toggle to display nodes at header level.

This would be super helpful. Don’t know how plausible it would be to make it toggle-able for each file, but I think that would be for the best. What I mean is, rather than having a toggle for “Every note shows every heading”, having a toggle for “This specific note shows every heading”.

I think the default graph feels shallow because it mostly understands note-to-note links and ignores a lot of the structure that already exists inside each note.
Headings and blocks are basically the skeleton of a vault, and they already form a hierarchy. So if someone builds this, I think two things matter most: actually following that heading/block structure instead of only backlinks, and keeping the Markdown as the single source of truth so the visual map can’t drift away from the text.
Even as a smaller plugin focused on the structure of a single note, this feels very doable. The rendering probably isn’t the difficult part but keeping edits in the map and the Markdown perfectly in sync is.
