Is there a way to display the Alias of a note instead of the note title in the Outgoing Links core plugin?
This can be particularly useful if you have a lot of notes with generic titles, as the aliases will provide more context about the content of each note.
Not sure if I understand exactly what you mean, but you can do this with links:
[[Note title|Alias name]]
I meant in the Outgoing Links plugin panel which appears in the side bar. That shows all the links that are in a note, and I was asking if the links there could be set to appear as their aliases instead of the regular note title. so if the link was to a note called Note title but it had an alias Alias name it the sidebar it would show up as Alias name.
I think it would create to much chaos. Because you can have two links to the same file within one note but with different aliases. So which alias do you display than? The original name is unique (at least for a specific folder).

But I understand you. I for example would like to be able to display an aliases instead of long file names at the top of my notes.
