Very, very, very strongly request that the automatic code conversion feature be disabled by pressing the tab key under the title. If I want to use the code, I can just type ', but I find it surprisingly difficult to indent the first line under the title. I strongly recommend!
If you’re not in a sub-list, four or more spaces in Markdown (a tab) is a code block.

I don’t think Markdown will change anytime soon, but there are a few feature requests to change what actually happens when you press the <tab> key in Obsidian. Please have a search in Feature Requests and give a heart to the one you think fits your request best.
