Things I have tried
I’ve tried working with the CSS, the Style Settings plugin, and the Minimal Theme Settings plugin. I am completely new to CSS but I think this is the class that’s causing my issue:

What I’m trying to do
I want to completely disable the highlight search results function. When following a link to a heading or section, the document opens with the linked section highlighted. This forces me to click away using the mouse to un-highlight this area. I prefer to touch the mouse as little as possible when writing, so this is slightly annoying.
