Different interlining in editing and reading modes kills Canvas as a feature

Hi

The problem

I don’t know who thought of making different interlining in editing and reading modes. When I am in Obsidian Canvas I want to edit a note. Since interlining in these modes is different, words in the note change their location. I end up having to look for their new placement, which is annoying and kills the Canvas as a feature.

Things I have tried

AI wrote a little snippet for me. The problem is partially solved (but there is a little movement).

Question

Is there a setting for that? Or an elegant workaround? It’s killing me

Try the CSS declaration line height: 8px followed by px (pixel) or any other value you prefer. 8px is just an example.
