What I’m trying to do
I have a strong memory of being able to drag outline items (list items) from one pane and drop them into another — effectively moving content between notes by dragging. I can’t reproduce this and I’m trying to figure out if it’s still possible.
Things I have tried
Searched for “drag and drop outline panes” and “drag list items between notes” in the help docs and forum — nothing conclusive came up.
My current community plugins are: Calendar, Dataview, Date Inserter, Datepicker, Excalidraw, Outliner, Periodic Notes, Strange New Worlds, Style Settings, Tasks, Zoom.
The Outliner plugin is the most obvious candidate since it handles list item drag-and-drop within a note, but I can’t find anything in its changelog about cross-pane dragging.
Not sure if this was ever a feature or perhaps a plugin behaviour that changed. Has anyone else experienced this?
