Dependent Sub-Properties

I just started using Obsidian Frontmatter Properties.

I was wondering if there is a way to create “sub-properties”.

For example, let’s say I classify a document as an “article”.

Somehow, I would like to be able to give it the sub-property “title”, where it is understood that “title” is dependent on “article”. If there is another document in the vault that has the bare property “title”, this is not equivalent to “article[title]”. It is specifically understood as being in reference to property “article”.

What options are there for doing that?

I think you may be referring to nested YAML (or similar) if I’m understanding correctly:

YAML is just a markup language. Literally YAML = yet another markup language It doesn’t provide any functionality, it is just the way to organize your metadata. consider --- family: mother: name: Mary age: 50 father: name: John age: 55 --- then we can use it somehow like frontMatter.family.mother.name Can it be rewritten without multi-level YAML?
