Delete Unused Property Values

What I’m trying to do

I’m trying to delete unused property values.

As seen in the image below, there are 2 different values for the status property. A lowercase done, and a second Done beginning with uppercase.

There is no note in my vault that contains status: Done. Yet, it appears in the dropdown autosugestion menu.

I have a few others like that, and I want to get rid of those similar to ‘Done’, but unfortunately I can’t find a way to do that.

Is there a way to delete those obsolete property values?

Are you sure about that? How did you check it? Because the option ought to disappear in case there is no note with that value. So either you encountered a bug, or there are still notes with those property values.

You could use BBedit (Mac) or Notepad++ (Pc) or VScode (either) to do a search and replace across your vault for status: Done and replace it with status: done

All of those programs work across multiple files in one search operation.
