I want to click on Obsidian in my taskbar and open up my main vault, but instead it’s opening the vault manager screen with all my vaults listed. Here’s the weird thing: 90% of the time, it actually immediately opens the vault I was previously using and closed, as desired, but sometimes it opens up the vault manager and then stubbornly refuses to work like normal.
Things I have tried
Shifting between vaults, trying to close and open them in different orders…
My experience on Windows is that starting Obsidian opens whatever the last window you closed was. If it was the vault switcher, that will open. If it was the Sandbox, that will open. Et cetera.
macOS doesn’t care; it just goes ahead and opens whatever vaults or windows were open when you quit the app. Heh.
UPDATE: okay, now it’s also having issues where I will purposefully close the second window of Obsidian and all its tabs so it only has one tab/window open, and then when I close Obsidian and reopen it it’ll revive all the tabs / second window for no reason as well. So…it’s opening the right vault, but now it’s reviving random tabs for fun
