Image 1 shows my default font of Obsidian which I Iike a lot. However, the font changes itself to something else occasionally (image 2) and there is no way for me to change it back.
This problem affects both my Mac and iOS versions of the app.
The default font does not appear to be an option in the appearance setting. I also do not have any font set up.
How do you set your “default font” without setting them up in Obsidian’s settings ?

Do you use a plugin/CSS Snippet instead of using the font installed in your system ?
Hey Pch, thanks for your reply. The default font is the font I got when I first installed Obsidian. I don’t think I have any plugin for font (except “Style Settings”), and I don’t know anything about CSS Snippet.
When the font changes itself, it changes back to the other font on its own later (completely random) without any interference.
Any replies?
FWIW, the font in pic 1 does not look like default Obsidian font. I assume you’re using some theme if you have Style Settings installed, and it will usually set its own fonts. That does not explain why they would change randomly though. Either way, in the Obsidian settings in pic 3 you can set the ones you want to use for interface and text and in Style Settings for headings and possibly other things, depends on the theme. I’d try that and see if it solves the issue.
It’s possible this is some sync conflict messing with your settings files. Do you store your vault in a sync tool?
Strange, I’ve been using the default theme. I have now found a similar font for interface and font, though. I think that is the best solution.
I do! I use iCloud. I have experienced this issue several times in the past but normally it would be resolved on its own after a week or two but not this time
On Desktop, make sure you set the files to not be offloaded to the cloud. Preferences → Your Apple ID → iCloud → Optimize Mac Storage. UNcheck this.
(On iOS, I don’t know if there is such an option.)
