"Default file to open" not working

Steps to reproduce

Start Obsidian in any of the modes available (new note, specific file, daily note, last opened). The behavior is as follows:

Setting On Open: If No Files Opened at Shutdown On Open: If files were Open at Shutdown
Last opened Does nothing: empty tab Opens last opened files
New note Does nothing: empty tab Opens last opened files
Specific file Does nothing: empty tab Opens last opened files
Daily note Does nothing: empty tab Opens last opened files

I checked the app.json file to see if the setting was changed, and it was.

Did you read and follow the Troubleshooting Guide ? [Yes/No]

Yes, nothing pertaining to the issue.

Expected result

The files for each setting open correctly

Actual result

See the table above

Looks to be a 1.14.0 issue.

Using 1.13.7, Default file to open β†’ Specific file and Default file to open β†’ Daily note work as expected, no files opened at shutdown, in a quick test.

Thanks for the report.

will be fixed 1.14.1. ETA unknown.

Thank you.
