Use case or problem

I really miss a date picker like in Remnote or Logseq, that I could activate with a shortcut or a “magic word” in the note.

It would be amazing to be able to use it even in plugins, where necessary (for example in Vantage plugin when you don’t use natural language dates).
Or even in a future search by date in the default Obsidian search panel.

Proposed solution

I think it should be an Obsidian default feature to implement, that you could activate with a shortcut

Just been trying out Obsidian for a while now. Getting used to it.

I used (and still use) Dynalist for years and I really use the date picker option in Dynalist a lot, just by typing “!”. I would love this option in Obsidian. It should imo be a default feature as desk7 proposes.
