Data synchronization problem after importing local files into Obsidian

For example, let’s say I have a half-edited word file on my desktop. At this time, in order to count my Obsidian diary today, I created an empty note and imported my word file to make a two-way link to today’s diary (I found that after importing, there are more directories in the E drive. a same word file). But I found that if I open the word in Obsidian and continue editing for convenience, I will only change the word file in the E drive, and the word on my desktop is equivalent to useless. I know this is normal, but is there any way to make these two files into one or to synchronize the contents of the two? After all, it is a bit awkward to open the root directory when I need to send files to others.
