Steps to reproduce
Open markdown file with backlinks. Close tab of markdown file. Backlinks of closed file persist in pane.
Expected result
If there is no markdown file open or a file with no or different backlinks is still open after closing last tab, the backlinks pane is updated with relevant information.
Actual result
Recently closed file’s data persist in pane.

No time to try in Sandbox environment as I need backlinks pane with data.
Current workaround:
Click Outgoing Links or other adjacent icon on pane and click Backlinks icon again to have the information update.
