Hi,
First, I am on CachyOS using KDE. Whenever I toggle light and dark mode system settings, Obsidian reflects the opposite mode.
Steps to reproduce
# set system to light mode
# set Obsidian to light mode
# switch system theme to dark mode
Observed the opposite mode change in Obsidian's theme
# the toggle for system theme switching is enabled in settings. (hopefully
# this answers the first forum response :)
Troubleshooting guide:
- I am on
package 1.12.4-1which is[installed]on my distribution. - I have disabled
Syncthingsfor both directories, when that didn’t resolve it, I deleted the directory fromSyncthings, re-scanned usingSyncthingsand it still did not resolve the issue. - I have no community themes installed.
- Restart after the above changes had no effect.
- Theme switching appears TO WORK, however THE COLORS ARE REVERSED. I.e. system mode on light, Obsidian is dark, system mode on dark, Obsidian is light. Also, it did not switch on the first attempt.
THERE ARE NO COMMUNITY PLUGINs INSTALLED
# expected behavior
On the switch of the system mode, the colors in the application should switch, to the corresponding mode.
# actual behavior
Opposite system vs. Obsidian theme
