Daily Obsidian URI action: clarify documentation

What I’m trying to do

In version 1.7.2 we got a new feature: Daily Notes: New daily Obsidian URI action to automatically open or create your daily note.

I’m trying to launch obsidian with URI on my today’s daily note. I struggled a lot with it

Things I have tried

This doesn’t work:

  • obsidian://open?vault=Vault&daily
  • obsidian://open?vault=Vault&daily=
  • obsidian://open?vault=Vault&daily=true
  • obsidian://open?vault=Vault&daily=today
  • obsidian://open?vault=Vault&daily=today
  • obsidian://open?daily

In case someone else also doesn’t know, this works:

  • obsidian://daily

That’s it. You don’t have to specify the open action (even it’s under “Open” section in the documentation.
