Daily Notes plugin: dynamic path generation

In planning to use Obsidian for quite a few years to come, I’d love to structure my Daily Notes somewhat more sensible. My idal path logic would be

Daily/%y/%m

But I can also see a point in making the quarter available as a path component.

I think this is already possible. Have you tried it?

You can already do that. Set the “New file location” to Daily then “Date format” to YYYY/MM or YY/MM.

That results in a folder structure of Daily/2021/06.

Oh, okay. I got it. I hadn’t realized the slashes in the Date format make it into directories.
