Daily Notes Editor buggy if or when creating new correct day automatically

What I’m trying to do

Obsidian 1.10.6 Daily Notes Editor 1.1.0 existing open tab should:
(don’t confuse Daily Notes Editor Community plugin (has a scroll down of older daily notes) with Daily notes Obsidian Core plugin (doesn’t have the scroll down of older daily notes))

1. automatically open with the option for a new day entry (when the day is a new day)

2. 1. the view would show text: Create a daily note for today
      screenshot 2 shows a new Obsidian Daily Notes Editor tab with:
      correct text: Create a daily note for today
      incorrect action: after manually opening (shouldn’t need this action)
      correct action: automatically open previously open Daily Notes Editor with text: Create a daily note for today
      
      

3. open to a new correct day

   screenshot 3 point 2 shows no Create a daily note for today (probably text no longer needed as tapping Create a daily note for today is a necessary action so the code knows to activate a new date header?

   

4. Editing Toolbar 3.1.18 should appear
   screenshot 3 point 2 incorrectly shows no Editing Toolbar in the usual location under the date, as shown in screenshot 4
   

   

5. Editing Toolbar 3.1.18 should appear under top line text: Daily Notes, rather than under the date. Appearing under the date causes bugs where the Editing Toolbar appears sporadically under lower down older date headers.

Things I have tried

Obsidian → Vault → Files →

1. Obsidian → Vault → Files → Daily Notes tab from previous session → tap around page to activate something, but no option to Create a daily note for today
2. Obsidian → Vault → Files → left ribbon → tap Open Daily Note Editor → Obsidian 2nd Daily Notes tab opens (1st existing Daily Notes tab is the error) → Create a daily note for today → tap to activate the cursor for typing.
   Error: the existing Daily Notes Editor tab from the previous session isn’t automatically showing text: Create a daily note for today.
3. Internet search: obsidian daily note editor new date
4. Obsidian forum search: obsidian daily note editor new date
