Steps to reproduce
- Create a new template - include the following:
{{date}}
- Add a date format - Go to Settings > Templates > Date Format and insert:
dddd, MMMM Do YYYY
-
Update the daily note to use the template - Go to Settings > Daily notes and update Template file location to be the template created in the first step
-
Open today’s daily note - Open command pallet and run:
Daily notes: Open today’s daily note
Expected result
I expect the daily note to respect the format set within the settings. The current set up should generate a daily note with the formatted date at the top. At the time of righting this the date should appear as: Wednesday, October 12th 2022
