Custom URI protocoll not registered

The custom URI protocol did not register on any of my windows 10 devices.

  1. is there something specific that needs to be done apart from launching Obsidian to register the protocoll?
  2. is there any other way to open a certain vault from the command line, like for example providing the vault name/id as a parameter to the Obsidian.exe?
