Currency property - with format 123.456,78

I’d like to write prices into properties. Therefore it would be nice, to be able have a property type “currency”.

You can define your own properties to your heart’s content by adding a definition in the YAML header:

---
currency: USD
---

… unless I misunderstood the problem.

thanks, that was an easy solution - true!

… I was not very precise, therefor I changed the title. It’s more about a good readable format of long numbers, like 123.456,78 … instead of 123456,78.

The international recommendation is to use spaces as a thousand separator so as not to confuse with the decimal point, but if you insist on using the point, just replace the "$& " with "$&.".
