When editing daily notes in the Daily Note Editor (plugin), CTRL+K does absolutely nothing. I’ve never had problems with this until today.
The hot key is on. It’s just broken, but only in the Daily Note Editor. CTRL+K works as expected everywhere else.
I have a Win11 laptop and am running the most up-to-date version of Obsidian.
If I’m not supposed to post this here, please let me know where to post it.
I’ve updated all of the plugins and tried closing and reopening Obsidian a bunch of times.
Thanks in advance!
Steps to reproduce
Open the daily note editor. Select text where you want to insert an external link. Press CTRL+K. See nothing happen.

Update: I just reproduced this on my Win10 desktop. Everything is up to date there, as well.

It seems like nobody in the forums knows much about this.
I contacted the developer directly and will update here if I hear back.

Have you tried removing the assigned hotkey from Settings > Hotkeys , and re-assigning either to something else first, and then back to Ctrl K ?

Just tried that.
In every note tried, the hotkey for markdown links worked as expected, regardless of what the shortcut was. In Daily Notes, the same hotkey did not work.

It has been a week. I haven’t heard anything. This might just be a permabug.

Do you have another plugin which kicks in when you are editing a daily note?
Could you do the Show debug info , so we could take a look at your plugin list? And possibly recreate the issue.

I’m not sure what you mean when you say “kicks in”. My compmlete list of plugins:
Daily Notes Editor
Dataview
Excalidraw (disabled)
Outliner
Is this the debug info you’re looking for?

I was referring to the result of the Show debug info command from the command palette.
