Cssclass styling rendered in live preview

Use case or problem

I’d like to have different types of notes (e.g. journal pages, zettels, study notes) styled differently, so that psychologically it’d be easier to switch to different work modes. For the actual writing most of the time I don’t really need to see the full preview for its content, so it’d be great to not have to keep an extra preview tab open just for styling.

Proposed solution

The existing yaml cssclass styling should work in live preview.

I second this motion.

I’m guessing the best way to do this would be to add either the cssclass to one of the top-level elements of CM-6 when inside Live Preview.

Alternatively, this could be implemented by adding live-preview-<cssclass> so as not to break pre-existing snippets but still provide functionality.

cssclass works in LP. you need to style accordingly
