Use Case and Current Workaround
I am adjusting the color of my links with css. I can adjust the color of the unresolved link with just a css variable, but not its hover color. Because of that, I have to select it like
.is-unresolved.internal-link:hover, .is-unresolved > .cm-underline:hover
just to modify it.
Proposed solution
Introduce a css variable --link-unresolved-color-hover that adjusts its color (and the underline below it) so that it would be quicker and look cleaner.
