I’d also like to be able to use internal links for notes stored in different vaults.
Just as I would like the ability to automatically update these links if the note’s title happens to be changed.
Perhaps a background process could be used for this purpose, one that would be responsible for monitoring changes made across different vaults? The developers know best.
