Creating Files with Paths with Wrong Capitals Cracks Folder-Creating Functionalities

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a Folder folder/.
  • Create File inside folder/ using Ctrl+O → Writing folDer/X (using the wrong capital D) → Pressing Shift+Enter.
  • Delete the file.
  • Create the file X again using the Ctrl+O.

The last step should create a new file folder/X.

Actual result

Error Failed to Open "" occurs instead.
