What I’m trying to do
I have a long file containing several tables located under different headings and I would like to have automatically updated list of these tables. This list would be located inside the same file as these tables. This is different from table of contents, because in my file there are chapters with tables and chapters without them. It does not have to be only tables, it can be also list of pictures or attachments for the given file for example.
Things I have tried
I was thinking how to use dataview plugin, but the problem is I do not see a way how to use dataview to work with information located inside single file only. I would like to have possibility to somehow “tag” different parts of the file (for example tables) and then make a list of them independently from the table of contents of this file.
