Create new "Unique Note" in a new tab

Things I have tried

Checking through the ‘Unique note creator’ plugin settings, and invoking the command ‘create new unique note’

What I’m trying to do

I want to create a new unique note in a new tab, like the general ‘create new note’ behavior in 1.0.

Currently it just gets created in the same tab, which is inconsistent with the other behavior

Press Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) when clicking the sidebar button or running the command, and it opens in a new tab.

If you’re invoking it via a hotkey, I’m not sure. In that case, it doesn’t seem to be possible. A workaround might be some plugin or tool that enables “macros”. (I’ve never tried.)

I am invoking it via hotkey, I actually rebound it to the default Ctrl+N.

But Ctrl clicking the sidebar button is an alright alternative
