Create file with wikilinks while using relative path

Use case or problem

Currently, my settings are not using wiki links, and the internal link type is a relative path. But I want to use the [] syntax to create new double-linked files. In this case, the created file path is not a relative path. And link converter plug-ins cannot solve this problem.

Proposed solution

It would be helpful to make links created with [] syntax also follow the internal link type settings.

Current workaround (optional)

Currently, the only workaround is to not use wiki link syntax for creating links between notes. This eliminates the convenience of wikilink creation and automatic bi-directional linking.

Another workaround

Using [[]] syntax to create a new file,

then using [[]] syntax to link the created file again. (Make sure to click the above wikilink to make the file materialized, otherwise the new link will have a markdown format but link to a file without “.md” suffix)

But all the above cases work well when moving the linked file (the link will automatically update). Thus, I also wonder if this issue is just a tiny bug to some extent ?
