Create Card in Canvas with Double Tap on mobile

Use case or problem

When working on mobile in canvas, you have to long press on the screen to select a card from the menu in order to create a new card. This creates friction when trying to put thoughts in canvas quickly.

Also, it would be great if when creating a card by dragging a connector, the cursor will automatically focus in the new card to start typing.

Proposed solution

Have double tap in canvas default to creating a new card. Right now double tap is not used for anything in canvas. If a user needs other items/objects, they can use the current long tap function.

Now when I use obsidian on iPad, I am also confused that double click and Apple Pencil cannot effectively trigger the mouse effect. The solution is to drag and drop the card from the three items below, which is quite convenient. I hope it can help you
