Create alias from selected text in target note frontmatter

I have since found two plugins that each do some part of what I am suggesting:

GitHub - mrjackphil/obsidian-crosslink-between-notes: This plugin adds a command which allows to add a link to the current note at the bottom of selected notes

Creates a backlink to the current note in a target note that is found through the quick switcher (without leaving the current note).

GitHub - hadynz/obsidian-sidekick: A companion to identify hidden connections that match your tags and pages

This plugin has the ability to just link the highlighted text in the current note (that it highlights itself through a constant search of existing notes).

Maybe these two parts could be adapted? Another aspect necessary would be a check whether the target note already has YAML frontmatter and whether the alias already exists?
