Create a references section under my literary notes

What I’m trying to do

I’m trying to create a reference zone in my literary notes, like on Wikipedia when you indicate the reference of a piece of information. That way, when I click on the reference number, it would send me to the reference. Check the picture under, to understand what I’m looking for.

Things I have tried

I’ve tried many things like “^1” but nothing works.

What you’re looking for is called footnotes, see Basic formatting syntax - Obsidian Help . These work like references, but only in reading mode, not in live preview.
