Could you please tell me what to do if I followed the installation instructions but couldn’t find the file list on the left side of Obsidian?
I’m sorry but which “installation instructions” are you talking about ? 
I mean, is it Obsidian’s ? The ones from a community plugin ?
It might also be helpful/useful to mention on which device/operating system you’re currently encountering this issue ?
