Core plugin Page preview's gear settings

Steps to reproduce

  1. In any vault, even in the sandbox vault. Open Obsidian settings.
  2. Settings > Core Plugins > Page Preview (enabled)
  3. Open Page Preview gear and enable “Reading View”
  4. Close settings, and reopen the Page Preview’s gear icon.
  5. The Reading view was not registered as turned on.

Expected result

I Expected the reading view’s item to remain on after triggering it on.

Actual result

No changes while in Core plugins > Page previews settings get preserved after closing settings.

Have you tested other settings to see if they have the same behavior?

I’m not seeing the described behavior on v1.12.7 on iOS. (“Reading mode” was already enabled, so I tested by disabling, then tested again.)

Reproducible here with 1.13.1 on Windows. Changes to the Page Preview settings seem to not get written to page-preview.json.

In a new vault, the json isn’t even created when disabling and enabling Page Preview or changing its toggle states.
