Additional information

I asked ChatGPT for help and it said to check the hotkeys are configured. When I search for Canvas hotkeys copy / paste does not exist.

Additional steps I have taken:

  1. Uninstall and reinstall Obsidian.
  2. Create a new vault.
  3. Test in sandbox vault.

It looks fine on my end (I am using Obsidian v1.9.1).

First I am using ctrl + cctrl + v, then the copy and paste options in the context menu.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Oh right - I keep getting version 1.8.10 when I download from the website (obsidian.md/download)… Is there a link for v1.9.1?

Looks like latest version is 1.8.10 on git too…

v1.9.x hasn’t been released publicly yet. It’s currently in early access testing. v.1.8.10 is the latest public release.

I just thought I’d mention it, but I didn’t have any issues with copy-paste in the Canvas using v1.8.10.

Ok I have it working. It was a conflict between applications (Citrix) was causing issues.

Happy for this to be closed.

Many thanks.
