I want to “copy” images with the dwell-context menu - copy feature.

When viewing image.jpg, I when I dwell on the image, I want a context menu that supports “copy”, which will copy the image so I can insert it in other apps.

This functionality is also missing on Android. On computer it’s solved via plugin GitHub - NomarCub/obsidian-copy-url-in-preview: Copy Image and Copy URL context menu in preview mode in Obsidian.md

@elmsfeuer I made a fix for Android, which author didn’t accept yet. I didn’t test on iOS. If you are interested you can install it manually from Release Unofficial release for 1.1.0 · mnaoumov/obsidian-copy-url-in-preview · GitHub

Copy image from a note

Currently, either right-click on an image in “Preview pane” or right-click on an image name in “Edit pane”, I can’t copy that image directly. If I select that image in “Edit pane” and use Ctrl/Cmd+C , then paste into another application, it shows something like this:  . It would be helpful when I right-click an image, an option like “Copy Image to Clipboard” shows up in the right-click-menu.
