Connection line disappears when clicking "Add card" / "Add note from vault"

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a new Canvas file.
  2. Create a card.
  3. Drag a connection line from the side of the card into an empty space.
  4. Release the mouse button to trigger the creation menu.
  5. Click on “Add card” (or “Add note from vault”).

Expected result

The two cards should be connected by a visible line.

Actual result

The connection line disappears immediately when “Add card” is clicked.

ok, I managed to reproduce but it only happens when I use add "add note from vault, not when I use “add card”.
