Concatenated Words in Obsidian

Steps to reproduce

Updated Obsidian using the launcher on their website to Obsidian 1.6.7

1. Open the Obsidian App and my vault

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Yes, put my vault in restricted mode with the default theme

Expected result

No concatenated words in settings, among files, etc.

Actual result

Concatenated words all throughout Obsidian, from files to settings, etc.

I have never seen anything like this.

Please go to your main vault and disable the theme and enable restricted mode and restart obsidian. See if it helps.

In terms of disabling the theme, I believe I have no community themes activated at the moment (just the default theme according to my Appearance Settings) and also have Obsidian with the base color scheme as “dark.”

Huh, I fixed it I believe. It seemed like it ended up being a bad font that I previously added to Obsidian (not sure why it’s acting up now).

In case anyone encounters something similar the font that seemed to be causing trouble is Atkinson Hyperledgible.
