As you can see, the file still has 6153 characters, but now it says zero words. I can’t scroll down or highlight any characters.
I tried to restore an older version of the file, but it’s offline. The windows restore point is very old. WTF is this and how do i fix it?
Did you try Settings > File recovery?

All right, could be worse! 
You may want to adjust your Windows backup settings to be safer in the future, or check that you’re using whatever the current official backup system is.
