Comments for templates

Hi all,
is it possible to define templates that have parts that won’t be copied when invoked?

My usecase would be to have annotations that describe the template, but won’t be copied when the template is actually used.

Not exactly what you want, but maybe a help?

I add annotations as Markdown comments. They come over but don’t appear in preview mode. As I fill out the template, I usually delete the comments.

If the annotations prompt you to provide specific info, you could maybe do something with Quick add where you invoke the Quick Add command, it asks you to provide some info, and then populates the template based on your answers.
