Command-clicking on a reference-style link in source mode causes a new file to be erroneously created

Steps to reproduce

Create a new file with this text

- [Hello][1]
- [World][world]

[1]: http://example.com
[world]: http://test.com

Then, in source mode, cmd-click somewhere inside the bracketed areas.

Expected result

Browser opens to linked pages

Actual result

New empty file(s) are created, with garbage filenames
