Collaboration within a Markdown Note

If there was a two way sync between google docs and obsidian somehow, or if there was direct collaboration between a markdown note and other users, that would be fantastic. It should be as simple as possible for other users. One could share the document they are currently working on, and others could collaborate seamlessly with that.

I know it can be done with these somewhat:
Obsidian Sync: Live team collaborative editing - #26 by berot3 - Feature requests - Obsidian Forum
Peerdraft

Still, it would be great to have better built in support for this.

Our plugin doesn’t sync with Google Docs, but you can have direct collaboration with other users in Obsidian (up to 3 people for free). It’s called Relay by System 3.

If connection to Google Docs would be helpful for you I’d love to hear about your use case.

I have installed your plugin and it is great. The issue I am facing is that not everyone uses obsidian, and I wish to work with the tools my team is comfortable with rather than having them be a part of the rabbithole that is PKM in order to to collaborate. However, I would like to use obsidian myself, since it is a system that works for me. I need a system which combines the two together.

that makes total sense.

I’m curious what you think about this. What if there was a Relay web app, and you could share with people a link just like in Google docs, and they could go to the link, sign in, and they can collaborate entirely in the web app without having to download Obsidian and plugins (maybe they’ll download it later once they understand how awesome it is)… if you think about the people you want to collaborate with, would that work for them?
